A moral dilemma I would like a second opinion on?
This morning my mother went crazy. I woke up earlier than usual and she came upstairs and started yelling at me. Long story short, she took my phone, hit me, invaded my privacy and was an all around b*tch for absolutely no reason. I’m an extremely private person, so this seriously upset me, I was in hysterics. Then she told me that if I told anyone she had hit me, she would disconnect the internet, phone, cable, etc and completely cut me off from the outside world.
I came home to find that she had arranged to give one of our cat carriers away – for FREE. Then she tells me that she wants me to do her a favor and deliver the carrier. I just got home from a very stressful day and she has the nerve to ask me to do this. She doesn’t want to go because her face is a little swollen.
Obviously, I do not want to do her any favours. However, the woman she wants to give the carrier to is 65, has two yorkies and wants the cage because teenagers keep setting fires in her laundry room. It’s apparently easier for her to put the dogs in a cage and carry them out of the building.
I don’t want to do anything for my mother, but I feel like I should do this for the lady. What do you think?
