Ok, so I am looking to get some recording equipment for home use I will list the equipment I am going to purchase:

Boss BR800 8 Track digital recorder

Steinberg Cubase Artist 6 Retail GB/ES

Microphone Stand Boom with FREE Mic Clip

Microphone Popscreen 4″ / 100mm

Adam Hall 3m female XLR to male XLR cable

SAMSON SP01 / SHOCK MOUNT

Audio Technica Cardioid Condenser Microphone ATT2020 XLR

Stagg SGC3DL 3 metre Guitar Lead

This is the Equipment I am looking to get there are a few questions will all of this equipment work with each other so for example:

1) Will the SAMSON SP01 fit on my Mic Stand?

2) Will I be Able to use the BOSS BR800 with The Cubase 6 Artist software can I plug everything intro the BOSS BR800 (Microphones and My Acoustic Electric guitar) and then stream the sound straight into Cubase from the Digital BOSS BR800 or do I have to record everything onto the BOSS BR800 and then transfer to PC??? the BOSS BR800 comes with a USB which you can plug into the PC to control recording software but can I record straight from that BOSS BR800 into Cubase and record everything live straight from the BR800 into Cubase or do I have to record everything into the BR800 then copy into PC? Or can I stream everything live into Cubase straight from the BR800?

3) Does the BOSS BR800 have Phantom Power? As the AT2020 Mic needs Phantom Power
