How to get rid of hemorrhoids?

Hi.
Im 16 years old and the doctor told me I have hemorrhoids (they are internal i think, you cant see them on the outside of my skin as they are underneath).

But I would really like to get rid of them – the doctor just said leave them, but I want to get rid of them as soon as possible.

What can I do, without having surgery?
