If i install a mod chip after the Wii update 4.2 can my wii brick and get its account banned?

i’ve got a 4.1 modded Wii with a solderless mod chip and i can easily unplug it and replug in the original wii chip in

would plugging the original chip back in then getting the 4.2 update make the wii have a less chance of bricking and would i have to delete the Home Brew channel before updating???

i really could careless about the homebrew since i can just download roms and other stuff on my pc

plz give a better answer other then just “no” and “yes”
