is this a bad sign in a relationship?

my boyfriend likes for me to bite him, dunno why he just does, i don’t like hurting him at all. he has to problem biting me and literally leaving bruises and bite marks. iv had bite marks before but that was while i was going at it. he bites me while we are watching tv or cuddling. last night i know he was kidding but im still worried, he bit me on the breast till i told him to stop and he wouldn’t. then he kept trying to make me choke him… do people choke each other when they get feisty? he also was trying to let him choke me. it wasn’t full force just a firm grip kinda thing. he then at one point took out his pocket knife and told me to cut him. he was completely joking at that time but its still freaked me out.ok im the type of person i like the kinky power struggle during sex just not while cuddling. i don’t mind slapping and biting… choking i have never done so it really freaks me out that if he is like this when we are enjoying ourselves is it a sign that he could do it when he gets mad? i stormed out of his place last night cause he bit me on the breast and wouldn’t let me bite him back.. idk what is your opinions? is this kinkiness usual? is it a bad sign? i just don’t want it to turn into abuse. kinda confused at the moment. never had a boyfriend that liked my kinkiness but he brings it to a new level….
