My R4i isn’t being recognized? PLEASE HELP!?

My r4i isn\’t being recognized? PLEASE HELP!?

I have the r4i Ver 1.4.1 and have had it for two or more weeks now and it has always worked on my DSi XL flawlessly. But when I tried to turn it on this morning it said there was no game card inserted.
After several attempts it still said the same thing so I attempted to put a normal game card in, Super Mario which was recognized like always.
Is there something wrong with my r4?
