Trying to convert my 2002 Nissan Altima H1 Headlights to an HID Kit…Is a conversion kit needed?
Trying to convert my 2002 Nissan Altima H1 Headlights to an HID Kit…Is a conversion kit needed?
Alright so I’m driving a 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5L and I’m having some difficulties deciding on how to change the regular lights to HID lights. My first problem is that I can’t seem to find HID lights that go into my lights. My Lights (As seen from the first link that I included) are regular H1 lights that don’t have the new kind of plug shaped lights. I want to put on “DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast” from ddmtuning.com and they say that it will fit my Altima but I’m having trouble seeing how. Is there some kind of conversion kit I have to buy so it fits the new plug type lamps. Also what is the DOT legal limit for headlights such as 4500K or 12000K. Do these HID lights burn out rather quick?

Thank for all the help!
