What does my dream mean?

I had a dream about my ex girlfriend.. Basically i was trying to find her, i was travelling to see her and i was on a tram going to Los Angeles (shes not from their, we’re both in England) then i was on a tram and some guy was looking for me to physically harm me in to stopping me from going.. Fortunately the guy ended up fighting with someone else and they disappeared from my dream (as in i don’t know what happened, it kinda skipped forward) the tram driver was jimi hendrix and he took me to the seafront where i could see an island and he said she’s on that island but you can only get to it by the mans boat (who owned the island) he said he would meet me in the morning and pull some strings.. Then i was just looking at the island wanting to get their sooner and i saw a pathway through the sea where it was like the sea was broken in half and a sandy path was leading to the island, then i woke up to a text message on my phone from her..

What does my dream mean? i’m sure there’s a subconscious message to be found in that.
