What is Wrong with my Pokemon Save File in Pokegen?

I had better go into detail about the issue I’m having, so here goes: I recently uploaded a Pokemon Platinum game onto my m3 ds REAL card, played it, uploaded it onto Pokegen for editing, and successfully saved the file and played it on my DS card. Nothing went wrong with it at all and it was already created by my DS to be a .sav file from which Pokegen will support. However, doing the EXACT SAME THING with both Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond respectively renders a different result: “Invalid Save File”. I have exhausted my search I think on the project pokemon website and haven’t found an answer that best suits my problem. Now, bear in mind:
-Platinum, Pearl, and Diamond were all saved as .sav files on my nintendo DS
-Platinum worked, and still does work, well with Pokegen
-Pearl and Diamond do not

Now, I’m well aware that Platinum functions differently than Diamond and Pearl, so perhaps that might be at least PART of the issue, but not likely in whole. Help please? Also, I’d like it if people didn’t answer this question with an “I don’t know” as, that defeats the whole purpose of answering the question to begin with. Thanks a ton!
EDIT: I think I’ve decided to go with the latter ideas given to me. I’d rather go ahead and get all new copies of the two games (Diamond/Pearl respectively). Thanks for the input!
