What is wrong with my wii remote?

What is wrong with my wii remote?

Alright, so my wii remote doesn’t work on all channels.

I was trying to play The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and the cursor doesn’t even show up when the set up screens tell me to point the remote at the middle of the screen.

I can still navigate through the main menu, but I can’t use the home menu.

I can use the Netflix, News, Forecast, Photo, and Wii Shop Channels

I can’t use the Internet, Nintendo, Mii, or Everybody Votes Channels.(I can still move the camera around on the Mii Channel)

I’ve tried having the wii in different rooms, and nothing changed. I noticed that in the sensor bar strength thing one dot will be WAY larger than the other. I have rechargeable batteries in my remotes (if that detail makes a difference). And yes, the sensor bar is plugged in.

Please help me figure out what’s wrong. x< I wanna play Zelda haha!
